Driver sd needs updating please use bustype method

The process (for Virutal Box hosting the guest) uses 100% of one core and just sits there. However, when I try and chroot into it it does the exact same thing.

I have tried the newest live CD on the guest system. I can Ctrl C out of it but it just sits there in eternity.
